Amin Al-Sarraf, Head of Locke Lord’s Entertainment Industry Group, regularly represents large corporations, financial institutions, entertainment studios, talent agencies, investment funds, small businesses, government agencies and individuals in a wide variety of civil disputes and complex litigation, including employment, commercial and entertainment matters.

Amin has experience in providing comprehensive representation in highly complex and strategic matters involving investigations, public relations crises, fraud and corporate governance issues.

Also, he has significant courtroom experience, having first- and co-chaired numerous bench trials, jury trials and arbitrations.

Deeply committed to his pro bono practice, Amin was co-founder and co-chair of his previous firm’s pro bono committee, working closely with local public interest organizations to provide pro bono assistance in a variety of cases, including domestic violence and immigration cases and at numerous legal clinics throughout Los Angeles.

Amin’s representative experience includes:

  • Represented a senior executive of a major entertainment studio in a wrongful termination arbitration
  • Represented independent committee of FTSE 100 company in internal fraud investigation
  • Represented the William Morris Endeavor talent agency in numerous copyright and employment disputes
  • Represented CBS in copyright infringement action
  • As lead trial counsel, represented business client in protracted breach of contract dispute.
  • Represented the estate of entertainment icon, businessman and philanthropist Kirk Kerkorian. Resolved or defeated multiple claims to a share of the estate in LA Superior Court (both civil and probate courts), and the Court of Appeal
  • Obtained resolution on behalf of time-share developers in suit for fraud, breach of contract and related claims in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California
  • Obtained resolution on behalf of County of Los Angeles Registrar of Voters in voter registration suit in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California
  • Defended, through trial, real estate developer in protracted litigation arising from residential development in Santa Monica, completely defeating claims seeking damages in the eight-figure range
